ABOUT NAOMI

Naomi Csoke is an accomplished singer, musician & songwriter from Darwin/Sydney, Australia. Her sultry, full-bodied vocal style takes inspiration from Pop, RnB, and Gospel music - a style she attributes to her choir upbringing.

She has toured extensively as a session singer and originals artist throughout Europe, UK and Australia, gracing the stage at several notable festivals, including St Kilda Fest, where she shared the stage with popular bands like Operator Please, Foals, Courtney Act, The Ting Tings & Mahmood Khan.

Naomi is a sought-after in-studio session singer, having lent her voice to numerous recording projects. As a successful voiceover artist, she once received over 53 billion views on a TikTok audio for a #challenge project with NIVEA.

As a songwriter, Naomi has been recognized by the music industry, with their song 'Batman Song' (under pseudonym Eden Green) being nominated for the APRA Songwriter of the Year award at the Tamworth Country Music Festival.

"I am inspired by the rugged and beautiful landscape of my home country" says Naomi "Particularly the dry terrain & tropical seasons found in the Northern Territory where I used to live. I feel a deep connection to the land in the Top End and the changing of the weather. It's like a poem to how unpredictable life can be and how we must take the sun whilst we can but embrace the thunder and rain as opportunities for change and growth.".

As a creative, Naomi loves to collaborate and believes that new experiences can have the biggest impact - she always goes into new opportunities with positive expectations.

She explains, "I once received a call back for an audition on The Voice. I was in my early 20's and said no to the opportunity because I thought it was 'selling out'. I think back to that and go 'I was such an idiot' *laughs* but it taught me to take opportunities as they come, whether it's a small gig in front of 20 people or a televised show. You never know who you will meet and what that experience will bring, so just embrace it!".

As an Australian, I believe it is important to honor the rich cultural heritage of the land I was born in by acknowledging and paying my respects to the traditional custodians of Australia, past, present, and emerging. I recognize their enduring connection to the land and waterways, and celebrate the diverse cultures and stories that contribute to the vibrant tapestry of Australia. May we walk together in harmony, guided by the wisdom embedded in the world's oldest living cultures.
